Dr. Lori Schneider graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1986. She graduated with honors (summa cum laude) with a major in biology and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She attended New York University School of Medicine and obtained her MD in 1990. She completed her Neurology Residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine (Long Island, NY campus) in 1994. She was Chief Resident in Neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1993-1994.
Dr. Schneider has been Board Certified in Neurology since 1995 and received recertification in 2005 and 2014. Dr. Schneider received her certification in Medical Acupuncture from the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco, CA in 2019.
Dr. Schneider opened Lakeside Neurology in 1994 and specializes in outpatient integrative adult neurology. She is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Neurology. She appeared in the "Guide to America's Top Physicians" in the 2004-2005 edition and received the Patients' Choice Award for 2010, 2011 and 2012. She has also received the "Compassionate Doctor" Recognition for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. Dr. Schneider has been living in Lake Norman with her husband and two children since 1994.
