About Dr. Schneider & Lakeside Neurology
Lori Schneider, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and certified acupuncturist who offers personalized care at Lakeside Neurology. The practice is a small and privately-owned facility, allowing Dr. Schneider to provide high-quality care to each of her patients.
Dr. Schneider graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then attended New York University School of Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Schneider completed a residency in neurology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine on Long Island and served as chief resident in neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Schneider opened Lakeside Neurology in 1994. The practice specializes in outpatient integrative adult neurology and focuses on integrating techniques from traditional and alternative medicine. Dr. Schneider offers services for headache disorders, neuropathies, neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, epilepsy and seizure disorders, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis (MS).
Lakeside Neurology is now offering patients screening for early peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and autonomic dysfunction with the TM FLOW System. This is a quick, painless, noninvasive test that provides critical information regarding the health of the peripheral arteries and autonomic nervous system.
